What Drew You to Real Estate
I had the privilege of being born in Hawai‘i and raised on O‘ahu, Maui and the Big Island of Hawai‘i. In those early years, my parents made certain that the kids experienced all that this state offers from culture to lifestyle and our unique landscapes. My siblings and I took it all in, and boy did we have fun! The beauty of Hawai‘i became an imprint on me, and when moving to Kaua‘i in 1985, and selecting a career in real estate at that time, I often think that it chose me. Sharing where and how we live in Hawai‘i comes naturally to me and from a very authentic place.
Fast forward 36 years and to now see the depth within the Sirois Kaua‘i team gives me such pride. Through collaboration and dedication we’ve achieved the results that our clients count on while also serving the Kaua‘i community. Mahalo to the real estate family in Hawai‘i which awarded me the honor of being a Top 1% Realtor in Hawai‘i, Realtor Hall of Fame, 2019 Broker of the Year, Past President of the Kaua‘i Board of Realtors, 40 Under 40 awardee by Pacific Business News, and current Board Member of Hawai‘i Information Service.
What’s Unique About Living on Kaua‘i
Essentially everything. I believe that you will travel far and wide and come up empty handed to find another place that has the heart, beauty and accountability of this island. There are just 75,000 permanent residents here, and within a day of arrival, most visitors understand that the Kaua‘i community cares about this island with zest. From the youngest members to the eldest, the island treats all like family. We share the same beaches, culture, landscape, parks and the best weather on the planet.
Where Would You Buy a Home and Why
Having made the south shore my home since 1985, it's challenging to answer otherwise. The recreational opportunities and small town nature appeal to me, not to mention the proximity to Līhuʻe and beyond. However, every week I am all over the island both on and off the road and wouldn’t have it any other way.
Who Is Your Favorite Musician/Author
I'm a fan of Tracy Chapman and Annie Lennox's music, and Walter Isaacson's books.
What Do You Do for Fun
I am lucky to have my family here, and that means every day is fun. We are an outdoorsy bunch, and given my athletic background, you could say that Kaua‘i calls me outside to play tennis, pickleball, yoga, swimming, hiking, beach time and more. I really love it all.
